John has been cultivating a sense of money’s value in the boys from a tender age. Zachary and Elijah may not have fully grasped the extent of their parents’ fame at five and three, yet John and Furnish did impart a crucial lesson on financial planning to them.
In 2016, the vocalist mentioned they could earn £3 ($3.74) in allowance by carrying out household tasks such as kitchen and garden chores. The money would be divided for savings, spending, and charity, with each fund allocated accordingly. As they matured, their responsibilities expanded to include maintaining the cleanliness of their rooms, and they were rewarded with stars for accomplishing each task.
